Running while lifted
I've got a 2016 C7 with automatic trans that I have been chasing a noise in the rear. I lifted the rear wheels off the ground and started the car, put it in gear but it wouldn't accept any throttle above idle. The noise I'm trying to find is between 15mph and about 30mph and I thought maybe I could pinpoint it with a stethoscope while running at speed, but for some reason it won't let me accelerate above idle. Any ideas how to override whatever is preventing acceleration?

yeah, the stability and traction controls mess with it when the wheels are up. I did the same thing a while back.
I guess it's due to zero load on the drivetrain making the sensors go crazy.
turn both of those things off and it should work fine.
