Default Soler Throttle Controller settings

What is your favorite Soler TC setting for highway/tour driving? How about for spirited driving?

I just installed the Soler TC this morning, but won't be able to get the Grand Sport out until this weekend to experiment with different settings. Install was relatively simple, but it helps to be left-handed!

I had my TB ported by Soler back in 2020 or so (original 2019 GS owner) and was super happy to get rid of an occasional stumble off idle in both my wife's M7 Z51 car and on our A8 GS as well. Few weeks back I did find a Soler TC here in the parts section with bluetooth and am super impressed with it. To answer your question so far Sport 5 as many here suggested seems to be a sweet spot. Install took all of 15 minutes, and it connected easily to the Soler app I downloaded on my phone. What is weird the few times I have driven after with it no longer wants to connect to my phone.

Keith - I had to play with the pairing sequence a couple of times to get it to work. Try going to the menu, tap Home and see if it stays connected.

Thanks will do, I have all of it tucked behind carpet up behind pedal and thought that may be it? Then put it on floorboard to see if Bluetooth was masked which didn't help. Only thing I would most likely change time to time is bump it to dead pedal with phone if happen to be away from car any length of time main reason the Bluetooth feature is cool for me.

I have mine set at Ludacris 3. Twice I noticed my car seemed sluggish, checked the controller ( in the arm rest), and saw it was back to basic setting. Probably due to me fumbling around for something in the arm rest. I started out sport 5, after couple weeks, set to current Ludacris 3. Huge difference for sure. Also upgraded the throttle body at the same time. Going on 6 years now. 2019 GS.

Sport 5 is my sweet spot, providing the most "linear" throttle response.

I stay at SP6 or SP7. I like it a little more on the aggressive side. Now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever tried any of the ludicrous modes.

I was using Sport 5 or 6 setting but recently have been using AI mode. Mine is a manual and it seems a bit smoother.

I use sport 2/3. Mine is A&A supercharged and if I get much more aggressive I get horrible stumbling. Takes care of the stumbling off idle. Dropped it off for some paint work and set it to valet 1. Still had the setting when I picked it up, though they didn't joy ride it (I checked the odometer).

Ran into horrible rain and set it to weather 2/3. Engine wouldn't rev above 3k, which was a nice surprise with that setting.

I have found that Sport 5 works best for me. What a fantastic aftermarket product!

Once I installed mine I tucked the unit behind the carpet - out of sight. Control it exclusively through the app. Not so much for looks but to hopefully stump would be thieves.

Mine is set to SP5. May have to experiment with the ludicrous settings though.
