out here that is the dealer going price. I have called other dealers and they had the same prices.
if someone has a link to where it says the recall would help a lot. Plus I’m not the original owner.

mine didn’t have a crack in the tank. They said was the fuel pump. But after it happened again and they replaced the fuel controller for free cause it was under warranty. So looks like they did check that. What sucks is it happened after that and they found a bad wire harness to the fuel pump. Now hasn’t happened again. I thank if they did that first I wouldn’t have had any more problems. Thanks.

Since they could not diagnosis the problem but just throw parts at it, your car was torn apart 2 times.

When you go into such involved repairs, dropping the rear end, you're really rolling the dice.

Russian Roulette isn't my game.

So you would just let your car sit not operative? I really had no choice if I wanted it running. Have had it a few months afterwards and all seems fine. Knock on wood.

I agree it is high. Problem is everything here in California is higher than usual. Have a good day.

Diagnostics were very bad.

A bad wire resulted in dropping the rear end 2 times.

Their moto must be "Fire the parts cannon!".

Also "Pay the nice lady at the end".

I would never go to a parts changer (dealership) for an issue that requires a diagnostician.

But happy to see you got it repaired.
