Hi i just recently purchased this 2016 z06 here in dallas texas, the dealer claims it pushes 1500 hp with a shot of nos, i’m trying to find the previous owner so I can get a full detail of what was actually done, purchased in california last state registration is south dakota any help would be appreciated
I always put a home address that is several houses down and across the street. No sense inviting someone home who stole your car! Since, I have a Roadster, I keep the registration and insurance in my wallet.
One option is a CarFax to get some info. But most of that info is free with the next option:
The free option: Ask the local GM service dept for a VIS report. That will show where it was serviced and what was performed ( triple flush, etc.) It won't give owner info but will help you track down geographic history. Maybe that State DMV will provide Title information via the VIN.
