Default Stage II Side Skirts

Interested in your Stage II Side Skirts for my 2015 Z51. I'd like to see a picture of how the skirts fit along the body. Doesn't have to be full length photo, but showing how tight they fit against the body. Also would you recommend using the 3M tape rather than rivets? Do the side skirts use the front and rear bolts under the body to fit and attach the skirts to the car?

Hello,

We do not recommend using 3M tape over rivets, but then again it is your choice if you do decide to go the 3M route just make sure you purchase it online and make sure to get the maximum poundage it holds. The skirts do use the 2 original bolts toward the front of the skirt but not the rear. The skirts fit as tight as they can fit.

Would like to know why the five bolts that hold the rocker panel are not used to mount type II skirts? If they are mounted as mentioned with only the rivets how are skirts held to the bottom of the rocker panel? Is that why the skirts don't show any mounting holes? Please explain.

The skirts have indentations where to drill the holes. The only factory screws that are used to mount are the two right behind the front tire everything else is riveted on. You have to drill the rocker panels to mount the skirts.

If you use 3M tape you will have a gap between the skirts and the rocker panel.

Do you have any photos showing how the side skirts fit underneath. Another words a photo showing the installation from the bottom. I went to you site and looked at the Stage II side skirts. I think I understand why you use on the two bolts under the rockers and need to install the remainder with the rivets. I am trying to see how they fit underneath.

Also do you have any intentions of offering the Stage II in Carbon Flash Black? I know how a number of owners like the Carbon Fiber, but I would prefer having the side skirts matching the other trim on the car.

Thank you for your help and assistance.

Hello,

Unfortunately we do not offer painting and I do not have any pictures of the skirts from underneath though I will remember to take as much as I can next time around.

Thanks.

Default Stage II Side Skirts

Does anyone have any pictures of the Stage II skirts under the rockers. Interested in how they fit underneath. The reason is other side skirts are mounted with the five bolts under the rocker panels along with the rivets or 3M tape. I am wondering if eliminating these mounting points and just using the rivets if the side skirts will have a tendency to move more if hit by mistake?
