Default Squealing brakes

Anyone having issues with squealing brakes on their C7 Z51? If so, what did you do to fix the problem? Thanks...

Use them harder and get the pads properly bedded.

Here is a video I put together a while back on How to Bed-in Pads and Rotors. Check it out.

even after the break in procedure they still may be noisey. like the c6 zo6 pads they like to be excercised. light, slow driving will make them noisier than ever.

The dealer showed my a bulliten from GM that clamed the performance oriented brakes on the C7 will always put out lots of dust, and may be noisy. At some point you'll most likely be able to change to a different pad that will reduce the noise, but may also be lower performance.

Finally got a chance to burnish my brakes yesterday. I followed the manual to the letter. Looks like it may work after all...

High performance brakes require some sacrifices. Noise is one of them. I never let it bother me. Only the people not in the know are bothered by the squealing.
