Default Halltech's Weaponized Carbon ULZ700

I know, wrong forum, but not really. I wanted to let the C7 folks view what they are in store for. This car is the result of 5 years of work developing the lightest street worthy Z06 on earth. All carbon fiber (sans the doors and fascia) body including the driveshaft Halltech intake, valve covers, and still has the air conditioning onboard. Weight 1 gallon fuel onboard: 2777lbs.

This monster sports a 608 RWHP Katech built e85 burning 13.2:1 429, but still does duty to and from the grocery store.

The Carbon Revolution wheels are exclusively brought to you by Halltech who is the Master Distributor for Carbon Revolution one piece 100% carbon fiber wheels. They shaved -47lbs off our unsprung, rotating weight. More information

Our C7 should be in town by month end; apparently we purchased one too soon after released and ours was buried in the mess. We will be doing fitment of the CR-9 wheels and provide pricing and availability to the forum.

Check us out at https://www.facebook.com/HalltechSystemsLlc or our website: www.halltechsystems.com for release of these awesome wheels.

Frankly, 688 lbs will be a challenge. I can see -50 to 60lbs with just the carbon fiber wheels. We know that Katech will be shaving about 40lbs off with some of their mods.

We have plans on doing some sweet things to the hood.

Yep, Here is the official certified scale weight prior to swapping our our old steel shocks for Pfadt's Featherlights. We also used titanium bolts. Total weight savings was 8.1lbs two weeks ago.

That puts us at 2769.9lbs with one gallon of fuel. The interior has not be gutted, and retains all creature comforts like the HVAC system. Stock windshield and side windows. We would shave off another 80lbs with carbon fiber doors, Lexan windshield and side windows and aluminum door hinges. Our goal, however is to retain driveability, safety, and most of all the basic stock look of the car for trolling purposes.

This ride can lay down rubber at 70 mph in second gear, so care is needed to keep it on the road.

It would take a ZR1 with 876 HP to match or weight/power ratio, but at 3400 lbs, the handling would be inferior to our car by a huge margin.
