Default Lowering a C7 in CA

Does anyone know of a place in Southern CA (preferably Irvine) who can lower my C7 on the factory bolts? I've read that this is "easy" to do, but I'm not willing to tackle it myself. Any assistance would be appreciated.

No experience with the C7 but I have been reading that it is the same process as the C6. If so, it will be super easy. Any shop with a lift and basic hand tools will be able to do this work. The key is just to get the pressure off the bushing. You can either just let your wheels hang there on the lift or if no lift, place a jack at the leaf spring to lift them off the A Arm. Then you just need to turn the bolt/bushing to back it away from the A Arm.

Edit: Here is a video I found of a guy lowering a C6Z. Not the best video ever but you can see how it is done, even with just one hand free.

Have your dealer do it. I had mine lowered while it was in the shop to get the radio issue resolved.

If you know how to take wheels off you know how to lower a Corvette. It's literally that easy.

Bring it over to my house if it's as easy as my C6Z then we can get it lowered in about 5 mins.

Won't even charge you haha

Its exactly the same as the C6. Did mine today. BUT if you are uncomfortable doing something like this DON'T attempt it.

You could get seriously injured or killed if ya don't know the process!!!

Either a dealer or join your local corvette club. Someone there would do it for ya.

Having West Coast Corvette do it for me next week for a very reasonable price - apparently they have already done two C7s.

Send me a PM I am in Irvine and can help you. Just looked under a C7 yesterday and the process is the same.
