Not a lot, just a few that don't understand how bolts work...

Nice work on the shock mounts. As far as your track testing goes how do you think the car stacks up against the c6z's as far as lap times are concerned?

I wouldn't worry, the engineers have everything sorted out.

Thanks for sharing your development and video!

Question: Do your engineers find that fitting the widest recommend tire on a rim result in quickest lap times? (Example: 315's on a 10.5 wide rim or 295's on a 10.5 wide rim)

THANKS!

Sorry if I sound dumb, but what is the advantage of your setup compared to MSRC?

Generally the wider the tire the more grip. Assuming that you don't go to big for the wheel. For example a 335 on a 9 inch wide wheel just won't work.

Thank you for your input from experience. Yes, I agree - tires must be mounted on a recommended rim width.

I've been doing some research on what size tire to mount on my C5 z06 18x10.5's and I have found tirerack, manufacturers, and a few individuals recommend a 295. Tirerack states the widest rim should be selected out of the recommended range for a tire. I have found auto manufacturers and SCCA racing teams follow similarly.

I have had the assumption that the widest tire on a recommended rim may not produce lowest lap times or driver feedback due to sidewall deflection characteristics when cornering/changing directions.

i think the right way is to decide on tire width first and then choose widest posible rim.
