I have seen a couple threads, but just curious to see what history anyone has with headers on the C7...? What are the best from experience?, and I am a little concerned about increased sound too...don't want a loud car.

What power gains are you guys seeing from stock performance exhaust?

Not to be rude, but there are a bunch of threads that should help answer your questions.

I have been reading but not seeing power comparisons to stock performance exhausts....I had specific questions for people that have them on their car, including increased noise levels...

There are at least three threads that specifically show dyno graphs for different header brands vs stock vs tuned stock...

Just start reading.

If you want to know about noise, all of the LTs will measurably increase loudness. Without cats, much more so.

If you have NPP, the idle will still be somewhat tame. The WOT will sound extremely loud, though.

ARH makes mid-length headers that offer a low-noise solution.

I will look at the ARH mids then as want as minimal increase in noise as possible...I have looked but haven't seen any dyno information showing specifically header vs stock performance, and power gains...seems easier to just ask at this point.

I'm glad it helped. Like I said, I wasn't trying to be rude.

I'm standing in my garage with greasy hands working on my race car (and messing with wires on the C7) and still found that within a few minutes.

But again, hopefully you can decide from that information. I would recommend the ARH mid-lengths if you're concerned about noise.

Since mine will be a forced induction car I may have to go long-tubes...the only question unanswered that I sent to Ron was can I keep the stock cats since changing those out seem to be the major factor for increased volume...

This is no way to retain the stock cats unless you use the ARH mid-length system.

All LT systems use midpipes with high-flow cats (if applicable).

Hmmm....I listened to a couple vids and they seem to be a lot louder...may scrap that idea for now...just look for an upgraded cat-back system

Headers with the stock exhaust will be a much better gain for the money than a catback. All of the catbacks out now will only increase the sound from the OEM NPP.

If you add headers down the road with the catback, it may well be very loud.

Since am going with a blower do you think LT's are the way to go then considering my noise hopes, or mids still...leaving the stock exhausts alone...?

I wouldn't change the OEM NPP (I won't be anyway), and would go with a catted LT or mid-length setup from ARH with the S/C kit of your choice.

The cats will cut down on a lot of the noise you're not looking for.
