I know MTI Racing is working on a prototype harness bar. I will consider that when they have it ready.
I am wondering if anyone else is working on, or has come up with a method to mount a clip-in 6-point harness with the Comp. Seats.
I had a setup in my C5 that let me clip-in the lap and anti-sub (jet pilot style) belts at the track and did not require any modification to the car. I hope this will be possible in the C7, but all of that interior "refinement" may make it hard to do a simple bolt-on of the mounts.
I would like to get something that does not require any cutting of interior parts.
Here is what I had in my C5:
Brey-Krause R-1115 Harness Mount Bar, and R-9115 Lap Belt Mount Kit
Still looking for the complete set-up, both the harness bar and the belt snap-in mounts.
The one I've seen done so far requires the removal of the stock
belt system as the harness bar bolts into the area where the seat
belt spool is mounted behind your outboard shoulder

The VetteWorks C7 Sharkbar works with the OEM seat belts in place. I can't post a link because they are not a supporting vendor.
The bar part is handled. I am looking for clip-in mounts for the lap and V-belts (anti-submarine).
I am an SCCA Formula Car Racer who is about to receive his first ever Vette to use for track days, Solo I and street. I am also looking for bar and harness solutions and wheel and tire combos for the Z51 with comp seats.
The Vette works bar seems great because I can keep stock belts installed. What belts? And will hole drilling in floor be needed for sub belts?
Anyone find a good and lightweight black wheel solution for Z51? TSW?
I've purchased the LocalMotors Harness Bar. I'm installing it this weekend along with Schroth 4-Point harness. The harness bar seems very straight forward. Removing stock seat belts and installing the harness belts looks to be more involved.
The Vetteworks-Hardbar Lap belt bar is in production and available at the end of March.
Congratulations on this very elegant design, vettedan! Would you please be able to post a couple closeup images of the Vetteworks C7 harness bar as well?

I'm still waiting on powder coated pictures from customers, here another carbon pic.
adamsocb- No loss of seat travel. Lap belt bar is both Vetteworks and Hardbar design.
