Default Track Wheels

Any suggestions for a cheap black wheel that looks similar to the stock C7 wheel just for track use (straight line 1/4 mile)? Looking for an inexpensive 20x11" so can mount a 315x20" drag tire...just for the back 2.

Key is inexpensive....not interested in spending 2000 for a utility wheel like this..

Take a look at TSW. Dirt cheap and good quality. Light to.

We can set you up with either the TSW Nurburgring or TSW Interlagos in multiple finishes. They are rotary-forged wheels at a price much lower than any custom wheel on the market that will bolt right on any C7. The issue is the tire. The only options for a "grippy" tire in the 20" will be a 305/30/20 Nitto NT-05 (sticky street tire), or 315/30/20 Toyo R888 (designed as an auto-x/road course tire, but extremely sticky).

As I mentioned.. Great option.
Go with the R888 and dont look back.

Hi David,

I am looking for a set for the back that are as close "looking" as I can get to the stock black wheel on my C7. Can you quote me a wheel you have like that with both the Toyos and Nittos as a comparison? Again I have the Z51 with 20's and really want a minimum of a 305x35x20 tire.

Thanks
Matt

What options are there for running 19's on all fours? Can probably -1 the wheel size in the rear for more options as well?

Can the C7 Z51 take an 18" wheel and clear the front caliper? I want to use tires from the Tudor Sports Car racing series and they are mostly 18" sizes. Scrubs are like $100 each, and they last great.

In for 18" all around as well. What width and offset works for road racing tire sizes?

Curious as to why you want a 20" if you're wanting to use it for drag. Due to the upper ball joint, very few 18" rears will fit unless they have a wide inner barrel. A 19" would work and MT makes a 305 DR as well we use on the Vs. If you stick with a 20", you're going to have less sidewall. I have options for both Matt, so let me know if you need some help.

Hey Ben...not opposed to a 19", just was trying to keep it looking uniform. I don't compete, just would use them for a Saturday night run, or a 1/4 mile run here, and there. If I could find a 19" set (2) wheels that closely match the stock black wheel on my car, accompanied with a set of MT ET Streets 2, I would consider. Deal is they are a utility wheel, so not wanting to spend a lot.

Looked at the TSW wheels on here, but they don't have a wheel that looks similar to the stock one on my car.

I am not looking for anything that large as have been told they wouldn't fit without rolling the fenders...305 for me. MT's.
