What cam and springs are you looking at? Consider tie bars?

Def not old school you'd remove the lifter trays and it allows you to run a more aggressive cam without worry. You might not need them, but I prefer that piece of mind. They're going in my 427 stroker setup and my cam lift is around .650. I can set you up with most of this if you'd like, shoot me a PM or email. I have LT1 350 ported heads in stock with cam packages as well. I also have a more aggressive package with some rump and 375cfm heads.

We use Morel link bar lifters in most all of our engine builds. The Morel lifter itself is a very nice piece and the link bar ensures reliability over the OEM plastic tray/guides.

Feel free to email/PM/call to discuss your options. We have hundreds of C5/C6 and now C7 builds posted on this forum as well that you can browse over for more information/ideas for your combination.
