I like the price and ease-of-installation of the ARH mid-lengths. Anyone running those?

The gains and differences between both after tuning is most likely negligible. Not sure, though.

Redline also compared the ARH 1-3/4" to the 1-7/8" and then to the Kooks 1-7/8" on a stock C7. That was a better indicator for most people than cam testing.

That is the post I was referencing, this comparison makes it pretty clear which primary works the best on this car for stage 1.

LMR is a great shop, you will be very happy with your car.

apologize for resurrecting an old thread, but it seemed better than a new one. ive been doing my research on headers and it certainly seems that arh is the favorite of the board. but they are also close to a grand more than everyone else it seems. im a little surprised I haven't found mention of price in any of these comparisons and why I hesitate to bring it up now but... Im all for spending more to get the best, but the texas speed post from earlier today displaying beautifully crafted headers for almost 1000 less than arh has me scratching my head. so am I missing something? or is the quality, customer service, and marginal power gains of arh over all others really worth that much more?

When this thread started I'm pretty sure Texas Speed didn't have theIr headers out for many of us to choose from. I'm sure they have a great product but, the ARH lt's I have are great!

At this point I will never choose another header company other than ARH. Their customer service is the best in the business and products are second to none. Period. /thread.

I have been extremely pleased with ARH. I have used them on my modded C6Z06. I have them now on my modded H2 Hummer. I will be installing them on the C7Z07.

The cheaper headers are generally made in China. I paid the extra for ARH because I had leakage issues with cheap headers before. It will drive you nuts with that ticking noise. No problems with ARH.

We have some great deals on Kooks if you call us @ 443-730-9428. They fit great, make good power, and have had awesome feedback!

We make our own headers for the C7 and here is a link to the lashway motorsports independent review they did on them.

I really appreciate all those that give ARH their vote of confidence. We've worked incredibly hard to earn your respect and will continue to be in the forefront of header design and provide the customer service to back it up.

Another interesting development for those for whom this matters, in June 2014 we were awarded a 100% Made In USA certification after a three month independent audit was conducted. In fact there were 4 separate certs awarded, one for each one of the major domestic manufactures and the last for all other systems produced including Mercedes. Presently we are the ONLY manufacturer of performance parts to go thru this process and we're incredibly proud of that fact. We're also incredibly grateful for those that believe in ARH and what we've accomplished in less than 10 years. Hats off to you!

Anyone looking for headers for their C7 should take a look at the Texas Speed 1 7/8" long tube system. After making several different designs we decided on a version that I'm very proud of & that has been dyno tested on the very same car next to several major manufacturers headers.

1 7/8" primaries with 2" currently in production
304 polished stainless
3" x pipe
Cat Version In Production
Merge style collector
Velocity spike

We're currently running a GP on the complete TSP header & 3" x pipe system for only $850!! When you open the box if your not completely happy with the headers your welcome to send them back. Anyone who's seen these headers so far has been blown away by the quality especially after seeing how much some places are charging for C7 systems currently.

The $850 price is only for a very short time though....

I just installed my AMR Longtube 1 7/8 catless headers. THey sound amazing with NPP, and I have shaved some serious time off of my 40-100mph runs.

Had both primarys on other cars! The 2 1/2 vs 3 inch x pipe is another factor.
ON the 427 it's 1 7/8's all the way! 377 or the 6.2 results vary!

I know this is gonna sound stupid but this wouldn't be the first time. With this system I can currently keep my NPP exhaust tips but put your headers and X pipe and cats in?all for $850?
