We've built a few C7 kits by hand, with great results, but we finally have production pieces finished.
The charge tubing, supercharger bracket, SFI approved balancer with interchangeable pulleys, ABS bracket etc. are finally ready.
I'm not going to sell these to retail customers until we have the instructions completed but that shouldn't take long.
I think most of the kits out there will be similar but there are a couple of items that stand out on our system.
We'll include a CNC machined, SFI approved damper with interchangeable 8 rib pulleys in our kits. I just disagree with the theory that bolting (or using any other type of attachment system) to a cast part can work properly in the long run. Cast parts have too much variance for my liking.
Our intercooler design, much like our C5 and C6 units, utilizes a true
"Ram Air" system. Once air enters the aluminum scoop, it really has no choice but to go through the intercooler core. Air will always take the path of least resistance. It's not going to go through the intercooler unless it is directed or forced to do so.
We're including the 52MM "Big Bubba" blowoff valve that can be "tuned" to a certain degree. With a filter it is fairly quiet. With no filter it's pretty loud. With the "trumpet" it is truly obnoxious.
Our valves have no diaphragm and can be easily taken apart, cleaned and lubricated.
No corners, whatsoever, have been cut in the design of this system. This will be the highest quality C7 system available, bar none. Pricing may come in a little higher than others, but you are definitely getting a lot for the money. Back that up with years of experience building Corvette superchargers and unparalleled customer service, I think most will agree that the systems are very well priced.
We were the first to have a C7 up and running with a supercharger but not the first to have them in production. I've been taking my time to get everything "just right" before pushing them out the door.

Very nice!
By the way, it was great seeing you on PCH this last Saturday!
Yeah. That was funny.
We were heading to the Forum to see Paul Simon. Unfortunately he was playing with Sting.
Stop by sometime. I'll let you take it for a spin.
I wonder what the effect is of having the intake pipe sitting right in the way of the radiator exhaust coming up through the extractors. It seems like you would be dumping hot air right on the pipe.
Yeah. That was funny.

I was thinking that was where you were heading and was going to ask! We were heading there too! Great show wasn't it? I like Sting as well so we enjoyed both. I will definitely have to swing by your shop sometime soon. Given that I live in Simi, you are not far away!
Will you eventually be getting the A&A supercharger kit CARB certified with a E.O. number for us local Cali residents to enjoy without harassment?
If so, when?
Cheers,
Bob
It's in the plan, but I have no idea when. The car has to have 4000 miles on it before you can even start the process. Mine has about 1500.
I went through the process for C5 and C6 and am not particularly looking forward to doing it again, but I will.

Lol, just teasing ya, kit looks great!
I saw that when I was taking the pictures. I was wondering how long it would be before somebody called me on it.
Very astute!
