I hate to sound stupid, but could you clarify? Do you mean the trim on the actual door, itself, or along the door frame? The door frame ones were shown, so I assume you're wanting the door. Let me know and I'll get it for you.
Not stupid at all. We sometimes use different terms for the same thing
I'm talking about the interior trim piece on the windshield pillar. Driver or passenger side is fine, but if driver side, any instructional pictures on removing the microphone would be appreciated.
Oh, that one is, pardon me, but... that's a bitch.
I just did that last night, so you're in luck. It sucks a LOT worse than the manual would have you believe. I also almost broke my headliner piece due to faulty instructions.
I will post their instructions, but if you can wait until later, I will happily post pictures of the actual process. I'm installing a wideband using the front speaker cover which required that cover to come off. Once it's off, the mic simply clips out.
Side note - those docs are incredibly hard to find on the system because they refer to them as garnishes...
This approach only works for the Curb Alert Mini, NOT the Curb Alert Pro. I have the CA Pro and I never got the 3 beeps at start-up, call Curb Alert and was told about the difference between the Curb Alert mini and Curb Alert Pro. The pro needs to only be hot when the car is on.
