I found this out AFTER I changed my oil myself at just over 1800 miles...

Just got mine done today. Had the car 6 months with some winter layup and 2100 miles.
I heard there was a chance you had to be at 20% but my dealer did mine and I was at 50%.
I'm OK with 20% from now on but on a new engine I want to change it sooner and get dexos out and Mobil 1 in. At 2100ish miles the oil was surprisingly dirty.

Just had mine changed for free at 2200 miles and 40% oil like fe. The dealer also did a differential inspection, (GM recall), an EEC s/w change, multi-point inspection and a tire wear inspection, all free under warranty. A full alignment check would have cost $80, but the Tech. stated that based on observed tire wear, it wasn't necessary.
