Default C7 Headers recommendations

Hello All,

ready to pull the trigger on headers & tune now that I'm nearing 1500 miles. I realize the topic of headers is somewhat subjective but I'm looking for feedback from you guys that have them installed on your C7.

I'm guessing I'll go with catted long-tubes using the factory cans for now.

Thanks in advance.

I have a set of slightly used headers that might fit. Other then that I'm running ARH that do fit and sounds nasty with my blower.

ARH long tubes, only choice is 3/4" or 7/8". If you plan on big power later go 7/8" if just basic bolt ons do the 3/4

Same as above. ARH all the way.

1-3/4" for NA @ sub-600hp

1-7/8" for FI or NA @ 600hp+

I have ARH 1 7/8" with high flow cats and it sounds mean with the supercharger!

All of the ARH LT kits include X-pipes (your choice of catted or non-catted), while the mid-length headers use the factory midpipes.

I don't have my car yet but I have a set of 1 3/4" ARH headers sitting here ready to go on as soon as I get the break in over. They are amazing quality and apparently bolt right on.

If you're concerned that they will affect the break-in period, don't worry. You can install them without any worries about that.

If, however you're worried about getting your foot into it too much wanting to hear that sweet music... Well then you have a point.

I'm not the best person to ask, though... My break-in was adding a blower at 200 miles.

I'm not sold on a blower just yet, too many "what it's" for me... So I'm just trying to move more air NA style. Between the increased intake, throttle body, heads, cam, & exhaust should I still stick with 1 3/4" primaries or bump it up an 1/8"???

If you're already leaning toward heads and cam, go for the 1-7/8".

Not that worried just figure your going to have to change the oil anyway when you install the headers why not do it once. Should get the car by Memorial Day.
