Default Brake Bleeding Sequence?

Does the old bleeding pattern i.e. bleed the wheel furthest from the reservoir apply to the C7? With ABS I have heard some cars have different recommended sequences. Wondering if anyone has a manual if they know the recommended process?

Also w/o a scanner to actuate the ABS pump..... I assume if I bleed the old fashion way and drive a few days and redo the bleeding this would be adequate?

Just trying to convert to DOT 4 fluid.

I wish they had it setup like Mazda.

With my RX7 you turn the ignition on, did something else I forget and it opened up all the valves in the ABS unit so you could bleed it properly.

Whatever the sequence you are correct. You need to bleed it, go make a bunch of ABS stops to get the fluid through the ABS unit, then bleed again.

I will post the info for you - you're already ahead of the curve in knowing that a Tech 2 is required to actuate the ABS cycle.

Bleed calipers in the order of the furthest distance from the master cylinder unless otherwise specified.

For the C7, the bleed order is:
1. Right rear,
2. Left rear
3. Right front
4. Left front

(with left being the driver side in NA).

Brembo makes the whole knuckle with bearing, rotor and caliper. Brembo bleed screws are 11mm wrench size, which is very close to 7/16" (7/16" = 11.1mm). When there are 2 bleed screws on a caliper, the bleeding procedure must be performed on all bleed screws that are in the system. Typical is to start with the inboard bleed screws and then do the outboard bleed screw on each caliper in sequence. Brembo bleed screw tightening torque is 14 Nm ( 10.3 lb-ft or 124 lb-in)
