I literally (as in less than 30 seconds ago) got done having a conversation with my wife about this.

She told me that I'm "chasing the dragon" - no matter what I buy, it will always be like this.

Just like you're saying, we'd rip into the Z06 all over again. And then, the ZR1 comes out.... (wishful thinking). Her advice was do what you want to what you have and be happy with it.

Fairly good advice from someone who really doesn't give a damn about anything car related - she puts up with a lot of my crap.

I'll show this to my wife so she knows she is not the only one.

I showed this to her on her iPad and she just rolled her eyes and said, "Well, I guess you're not alone with your sickness"...

I replied with "Honey, you don't know the half of it..."

The headers and tune will simply bump up the curve starting from 0rpm all the way to redline. The cam will start making more power at (depending on the cam) 4000 and keep going strong to redline. In this case, I'm talking about a DoD-delete cam setup as most (if not all) shown here have been.

Blower + tune gives you the low-end boost from the tune, and a massive torque increase starting surprisingly early (really starting to come on around 2500 - by 3000 you're well above stock and climbing). You are limited once you hit the top-end, though, due to the factory cam.
Would a Blower + LT + TB be an acceptable combo? (i.e. any benefit to installing the LT / TB or is it a waste of $$$ with the blower) - what would be the additional gain anticipated over just going with a blower?

Overall, the (entire) group concensus is:

LTs are for sound and (minor) efficiency increase with a blower, and a TB is for throttle response.

Talked to a LPE shop in my area said to wait some new products were about to launch. The cam is a necessity to get the fuel pump to deliver no current electric pump solutions. As continually mentioned the tune is the real secret. This shop is getting 700 RWHP with the blowers and should really push the glass. Will have my AW Z51 7 speed blown late summer, currently saving up for a couple sets of rear tires. These cars are definitely meant to be driven.
