How can a car react fast enough in a middle of a WOT run (which happened to me) and meth stops working ? there has to be that 1 sec where its too much power for pistons.
My car is tied to the meth system so it runs a different map when meth is on. If meth stops then it switches to a non-meth map. Works as fast as electricity/ecu can.

Now you could have a nozzle/etc plug up and it wouldn't catch that, but that is no different than an injector/etc plugging up. They nozzles do have filters so they don't clog so the odds of that happening are small.

Guys, if you want to have a meth discussion lets do it in a different thread. I will be glad to chime in. This thread is for this customers car.

Thank you,
-Reid

We made 754 using just our kit, headers and meth injection. No cam, and yes that is absolutely meth dependent and would not have an issue if it failed.

Two different schools of thought and I'm not saying what is right or wrong, just what we have found to work for our customers over many years now. A meth pump failure should be more of an annoyance then a worry, get it repaired relatively inexpensively and go enjoy the car again.

Reid,

Sorry to cause that - one simple sentence turned into something being blown out of proportion as is usually the case around here.

Back on track, after Doug reminded us about that 754 pull, I'm wondering what this can do on no cam, all meth!

As mine's still waiting for the cam install, I'm floored to see meth able to put out those sorts of numbers. I know you guys are going to have it on the rollers here shortly - can't wait!!

This is a Snow Performance methonal system. Car made great numbers on 91 octane through an auto. Baseline numbers were 400rwhp so a 200rwhp gain. She drives like stock until you step on the throttle!!

Have fun with her and be safe, and once you get used to the power the heads/cam setup will be here waiting for ya. 700plus rwhp!!

Guys at LMR great job on the build. Put 500 miles on her to get her back without a hiccup. Seriously does drive like stock and then you hit the gas over 2500rpms and it's like a totally different car.

Yes I will get some rims and tires and get her to the track. Who said heads/cam for Christmas

Exactly what I did - gave it another 700 miles to get a feel for it after the blower, and now pushing forward.

Have to make sure you want/need/can handle more.
