Ran the C7 at VIR… WOW.

Very fast stock. Impressive car.

I experimented with different PTM modes and found the Race mode to be the the best. There is too much intervention in Sport 2 and below. The Race mode worked well, providing TC (OE street tire).

Ambient temps were in the 90's. It was HOT.

I've read a couple posts indicating significant rear pad wear. I ran XP12s in the rear. I measured the pads with a caliper before and after the track day.

New rear pad thickness- 15 mm
Rear pad thickness after one track day day- 13.6 mm

What I should have done but didn't do (it was mid 90's and my brain was overheating) was try Track mode without opening PTC. Either by pressing TC off only once, or by pressing and holding TC off for >5-6 sec. There is a TC off indicator that illuminates on the LCD with one press of the TC button. Pressing TC off a second time opens PTC. Pressing and holding for a few sec results in the illumination of the TC off light on the LCD, followed by a second light on the speedo display w/o opening PTM. I think this mode may be everything off. I'd prefer everything off on a dry track. PTM race worked well and depending on tire and experience level may be a good option for some.

I was pleased I was able to flog the C7 in very hot (horrible) weather stock (except brake pads/fluid) with no issues.

I even used the a/c and ventilated seats on grid before rolling out and again at the end of the session.

Nice review, what pads did you use on the front?
