C7 Crankshaft material?

I know the crankshafts are physically different due to the oil pump set-ups between the wet and dry sump systems.
EXAMPLE: The Grand Sport had a "forged crank" if it was a dry sump and a "cast crank" if it was a wet sump system.
Some info from various sources:
LT1 Crankshaft 2014 C7 Corvette
•LT1 Crankshaft: 1538MV forged steel (twisted)
•Stroke 3.62 inches or 92 mm
•58x reluctor wheel to feed crankshaft speed to the new E92 engine controller.
•Induction Hardened Journals
Design Responsible Engineer: Paul Gelazin/ LT1 Rotating Cranktrain
His insider's perspective: "The LT1 crank is based on the high-performance LSA/Camaro ZL1 engine-crankshaft design for improved strength and durability."
At each end of the crank is a nodular iron bearing caps, which absorbs vibration and noise more effectively than the outgoing powder metal caps. This helps lower the amount of vibration the driver feels.
My main concern was that GM has to make two different cranks due to the difference in length at the front of the crankshaft for the two oil pump set-ups. The GS has the two different sump set-ups and two different cranks; but one is forged & the other is cast had me worried that GM might be pulling the same thing for the C7 and I wanted to get that question clarified as best I could. GM from what I could tell was not advertising at the time that the wet sump GS system was running a cast crank.
