Default A Question for A6 Owners....

Are there any differences in the shifting speeds (in either paddle or WOT auto) between the various drive modes?

Mine's a manual so I don't know.

There are 5 "Driving Modes "
Each of the 5 modes on the top of the chart --right under them it lists the 12 components which may or may not change to something other than Stock or normal (unchanged) . Not all the driving modes incorporate changes to every item listed ---If it says "Normal" then it doesn't affect that item other than leaving it stock as is--

For example :
In TORING MODE

Cluster is touring mode
Throttle progression is Normal (no change)
Shift is Normal (no change)
AFM is normal (no change)
Exhaust is normal (no change)
Steering is "comfort"
Magnetic ride is tour
Launch control is (not available)
Electronic Diff is in Mode 1 only (of the performance traction if you have it )
Active handling is normal (no change)
Traction control is Normal (no change)
Performance traction OFF (no availiable)

Not sure if there is any difference in WOT shift 'speed' or RPM, I have never really floored it in weather or eco though.

But the normal shifting pattern changes quite a bit, part throttleupshift/downshift RPM and how easy it downshifts with throttle input. Also in track mode it will kick into 'performance shift' mode and pretty aggressively rev match and hold the RPM up.

But as far as how it acts at WOT, shift points or time to complete the shift, it all seems pretty much the same to me. Granted if one is a couple hunded RPM higher or shifts a few milliseconds quicker its hard to tell..
