I picked up a used unmarried Trinity and have noticed 2 issues.
1. Even after resetting it to factory defaults none of the predefined gauge clusters are available in the monitoring section, only clusters I build and save.
2. Even with the device set to manual transmission it will not let me change the CAGS setting (skip shift) for a modified stock tune.
The device has been updated to the most current software and works fine to save the stock tune and upload the canned tunes. The canned tune has CAGS disabled but again, does not provide an option to toggle it on or off.
1. What is the software version under options/show information?
Does the tool ask if you want to restore default layouts?
There ought to be 2 or 3 preloaded ones to choose from.
2. CAGS should be disabled by simply loading one of the preloaded tunes. Are you still being forced from 1st to 4th?
Yes, the tool asks if I want to re-install the defaults, I respond "Yes", it waits for a few seconds then comes right back to the "No gauge layouts were found" screen.
CAGS is disabled with the preloaded tunes, I am looking for an option to disable it on a modified stock tune, just like you can disable AFM/DOD.

Gotchya.
When you selected your vehicle, 14/Chevy/Corvette/6.2, it should have selected the layouts we designated for that application.
Will sort this out.
I'll ask about getting the CAGS switch added as well
If you go back to options, and select say a 2014 Sierra, you should see the gauge layouts.
Mike,
Yep, when I select Silverado I get some gauge options.
Here's the list of files on the system, looks like the C7 specific gauges didn't make it to the file and the base GM Gas gauges aren't linked to the C7 config.

Yup, we missed them somehow....but I have a new build going now to add 15 stuff and we've confirmed the layouts will be there for 14 or 15 C7 selections at that point
