How many folks on here have had bearing issues in their Stingrays??

thrust bearings are 180 degrees.

Engine coated bearings....that come stock in the car.

The term 'screeching' suggest the noise you hear may not be the throw-out bearing but it could be the pilot bearing. I have found that if grease is used on the transmission input shaft it can gum-up rather than lubricate the bearing. For me a light coating of engine oil seems to work better than grease as a lubricant... Al
