Default C7 rear deck carpet removal, How??

Hi gents

I want to install some sound deadener in the rear deck of my 2015 Stingray Coupe.

How do I remove the left and right side panels, either side of the deck, with the speakers inside each?

I tried searching, could not find for our car.

Thanks much

jme

Wormwood, a forum member, posted an excellent tutorial on this. I don’t have much success with the search function though. Don

Thanks gents, I got the job done looks just like yours C7Jake.

Big improvement in road noise, worth the effort and cost.

Here is a question, what are the two vertical powered strips on that deck surface behind the seats, one on passenger side, one on drivers side. They look like heaters, but???

They are the sensors that keep your powered seats from traveling too far back and burning out the motors. They are very conservative so if you need that extra inch or two you can disconnect them without any codes thrown etc... You just have to be careful that you don't force the seat back into the bulkhead because the new motors will try to make it happen and fail, in more ways than one.
