Anyone noticed a slight delay when hitting the accelerator?

Hmmmmmm... But what would you recommend for throttle lag?
Because the last page here says the booster doesn't do what it claims...

Don't care what that paper says, mine works.
Could be the Mercedes it is based on?

I have three of them (yes, three) - they work on many cars that have drive-by-wire lag by simply fooling your butt dyno. The same feeling could be accomplished by mashing the pedal harder, but psychologically, the result of pressing the pedal lightly and getting the heavy pedal feel really does please a lot of people.
Why do I have three of these? Two were from Gen 1 supercharged MINIs that benefited greatly from them even after being tuned (talk about yo-yo effects on those TBs), and another was from an older SRT that had issues with setting TPS correctly in the tune.
Bottom line is that as long as you're okay with knowing how they work and/or you simply enjoy the way it feels, it's a cheap way to get that 'oomph' feeling without dealing with a tune to correct the soft TPS.

But most of you can just press the pedal a bit harder and it is free.
All kidding aside, I do not think the throttle ramp up rate is the issue.
There are many reasons a car is non responsive. When does it happen, how often, what are the driving conditions & etc.
I have a similar issue after several trips to the dealer without a fix. I decided to do my own thing. My 2014 does not like very hot days running at operating temperature. It will bog, sputter and drive like crap.
I data logged the car it appeared to heat soak and pull timing like crazy. Once it got a bit cooler out I noticed a difference the car was fine..... go figure.
So for me heat was the issue. It may not be the same with other cars but most of the time it is not throttle response, just press harder on the go pedal...... and btw once again it is for free
I have proven this. They call it PTM (Performance Traction Management).
In any of the 5 "sub modes" of "Track" (including "Race"),
the PTM is still active and doing things.
Even in "Race" sub mode, it is still working.
The only way to turn all the "nannies" off, is to press and hold the center
button for about 5 to 6 seconds, so the Traction Control and Active Handling
lights come on, to advise that these systems are now disabled.
Then, just leave things alone, and drive it.
I originally thought things were as you mentioned, and spent my first 8 or 10
Autocrosses in that mode. But I was wondering why there was a "bog" when
accelerating out of a corner.
Then I discovered the "secret" I mentioned above.
Just disable those 2 systems, and you now get immediate and full
throttle response (MN7).
Of course, you must now be somewhat judicious in the application
of the "go" pedal, or you will spin those rear tires.
