Chicken out and lift your foot and it drops out of Launch Control because there is no way for the car to know why you lifted your foot.

So a flat foot shift from 3rd - 4th is called Launch Control? I thought it was called No Lift Shift.....at least that is what it's called in the tune.

That is no lift shifting or speed shifting if done at the right rpm eliminates the use of the clutch, This can only be done on a roll. The launch control is a from a dig or a stop, you rev engine drop clutch and traction controls and stabilization take over and the computer controls the lanch after that.

I'm well aware they are different. Just asking what everyone's thoughts are on one vs the other from a performance perspective. Sorry I wasn't more specific. Which one do you like most and why?

launch control slows down a driver that knows how to launch

no lift shift makes everyone faster.

So the no lift shift aka power shift does work without engaging launch control? The computer still holds rpm? Or are you just saying it's possible to do it but the computer won't intervene to make it "safer" to no lift shift unless launch control was used? That's the way I understood it but would be happy to be wrong on this.
