We had some with Torco to bump the Octane and they were all in the low 600s.
With headers we saw about 20 more.
How much did adding headers lower the boost level though? If you could make 20rwhp more at 1.5 psi less (for example) that would be well worth it to me

Wanted to add water ports to the heads, but Greg Goode did mine and said could not add due to wall thickness...spray more up top. I did not have any problems with the blower setup when was at the level you are talking about...no worries there.

IMPORTANT NOTE...make sure you get a crankcase ventilation system for the car. D3 sells a good one. These cars come with no real way to help with crankcase pressure....if not, you will probably blow a front seal.
So Do i understand, that if one was getting a kit that will produce 550rwhp without meth on Pump, Can you safely run it up through the gears till begginning of 8th or half way into 8th & not have a melt down? Or for reliabilty can it be tunned to say 525rwhp safely to able to run it up now & then?

The cars weak point is crankcase ventilation at that level of power. For $500 you can get a D3 ventilation system that will take care of that, then you should be fine. For what you are wanting to do, Add the ventilation and you will be good to go...

Who makes the D3 vent system?

We sell countless systems everyday for 100% exactly what your looking for. 550-600rwhp on nothing more then 91-93 octane fuel, stock boost levels, and the tuning that we INCLUDE in the system.

Bolt on your kit,
Load your tune,
Enjoy for years.

And no reason for adding items like Vent systems, everything you need is included in the system, ready to bolt on. FedEX driver shows up on Friday with your system, Sat. you bolt it on in your garage and load the tune. By Sat night, your driving your Boosted C7 with a smile on your face.

Its that easy.

LMR sold me mine, but D3 designed it. Perhaps they don't sell them then...LMR brands their name on it, and sells as well.

What about odors in the cabin? I've heard that it stinks inside.

Meaning our system comes with a revised ventilation system.
So a customer doesn't have to purchase any other items.

Our system uses a check valve that under normal vacuum conditions (such as idling in traffic, or normal low load driving) the PCV system draws into the intake as it did naturally. Which eliminates the smell.

Our first few systems had an open vent (like the LMR can show above) and got a few complaints about the smell, so thus changed the PCV system. Have not heard a complaint since.

As far as cars that have major oil in the intake issues. Like the thread listing the full catch can, that might be more of an issue with the motor. Since it seems not everyone has the massive "oil in the intake" that others do.

All we know is that none of our BETA cars have had oil issues like that, and all are smell free, and never have we had a front or rear main seal issue.

Just a whole lot of happy ProCharged C7 customers.

Ok, if that is the case then good deal. That is the car's natural weak point (front seal)

I've got about 5k miles on my ProCharger kit and never had any issues with the front seal blowing oil. Then again, I've only gotten on it 5 or so times, temps are too low here and I get not traction!

As far as smell goes, every once and a while I get a faint smell from the PVC system. If it was vented to atmosphere I have no doubt it would stink.

As far as the catch can goes, I installed one on my and I've been getting a lot of condensation (water), hardly any oil coming through the can. Catch can is good because water and oil inside the intercooler makes a mess.
