And they are very good value for the price, I'm happy with them, $100 Canadian so what is that 50 American? It was on a Saturday and was my only option to use that machine shop, I did call and explained my issue but whoever I talked to just sluffed it off, told me the plate spacers that were missing would be sent out and that's all he seemed to care about

Not only that you get the support of the largest Ls/lt shop in the country. All you have to do is give us a call and we would have helped asap! we sell all brands of headers and believe me nobody is perfect. I've seen plenty of crazy high $ headers with issues. What separates the companies is how they help to solve those problems. A quick phone call and we would gladly jump to action to help in any way we can!

Nobody should have charged you $100 to use a grinder for a few seconds, was that just a joke???calling the headers out on you get what you pay for isn't real fair if someone charged $100 to use a air grinder for a few seconds. If headers went off that math the headers would cost a million dollars!

I agree, It only took me a couple of minutes to grind the inside weld slag away. That and the lower panel were the only issues I ran into on the install. Overall it was a great set of headers and would purchase again. The tunnel plate was bent, modified, a little and worked great.

Umm yeah I completely agree.

>$1000 for a header with welds like that is not quality.

Just installed some Texas Speed and Performance headers on my buddies 2013 Camaro 1LE.

Those headers are <$500 and the welds looked 10x better.

My tsp headers were fine, added a wb bung, modded the tunel brace (super easy) and made a slot in the tunnel brace to access my wb bung without removing the tunnel

Are these headers not shipped directly from the tuner? I'm assuming that is why there is some issues reported here? I plan on going this route when I purchase headers so just curious.

How does the off road non-catted x-pipe sounds with the valves closed ?
Is it the same / near as the stock exhaust ?
I don't care how loud it sonds with the exhaust open, the louder the better but I want to cruise the highway quietly on touring mode.

Inside the cabin while cruising I'd say it's pretty close to stock with the valves closed. It's definitely quiet with no drone.

Go with another brand tho, they won't even stand behind their product when an O2 bung was screwed,
All you get is posts like above with oh we've been busy, still no reply

Try calling them , get right through. You should always check the bungs for slag and issues ( with ANY brand) . Great headers at a great price and outperform some of the other more expensive ones. Mine still look great and sound amazing. put well over 5000 miles so far and I would do them again.

Wouldn't mind finding out what this is supposed to mean, other then making it look like on the forum that they helped correct the fact they shipped faulty parts without quality inspection

I still don't understand why headers cost so much for C7's. I suppose it's the Vette tax coupled with the fact that the cars are new (fixtures/tooling haven't been recouped yet).

I'm really hoping once the LT1 is sold in Camaros some performance parts come down in price.

The same headers won't work so they will have different part numbers and prices.

My truck Kooks headers were around 1500 so they are in the ballpark of the Vette headers....If you are talking about old school small block Hooker, Hedman, Comp, Pacesetter, whatever pieces of $300 crap that turn to rust dust in a year then I'd say those days are over and good riddance.

Crazybiker am I must be going nuts, I don't see a PM from you anywhere. Did you talk to one of my other guys? Refresh my memory did you have a pc of welding slag blocking your o2 sensor from screwing in? If you can just call up here to the shop. We can chat about it.

** Just found where you said you were charged $100 to grind the weld out of the way. That's the worst deal in the world! I sent you a PM, shoot me back when you can..***
