Ported Throttle Body Send it Back?
I just got this from a vendor, just curious what others think. It looks pretty rough to me and not very good.

Looks like the first one i got from a site vendor. I did not know you could port with a machine gun and a jack hammer.

My builder offered to do a stock vs bored dyno comparison between the two and let me decide. They said it felt less than smooth.

It may not look pretty but I doubt it performs worse than a smooth one. Easy to polish with a drill or Dremel. I did mine at home. A lot of material was removed as there is a ridge. Don't know if there was a real gain in HP.

I'm pretty sure I know who did that porting, and he's shown good dyno results. If you're not happy with that one, I think you'd be happier with the WeaponX, but it is 3x the price. I personally have the WeaponX on my car with an intake manifold inbound from who I suspect did that ported TB pictured.

Did you order a ported throttle body or a ported and polished throttle body? There is a difference.
