I left the stock AFM butterflies in place---after researching the issue I found that there was minimal HP loss by leaving them in so I thought it was not worth the effort---Also No codes ever and I simply tuned off the AFM mode in my ECM so they stay wide open all the time--
For some strange reason, I like the way the OEM tips look. It seems more high end. The inside is dark and the outside is shiny. The Corsa looks shiny inside and out, giving it a cheap look.
What do you guys think? Am I strange?
I like both, although the stockers a bit better. Borla has good looking tips as well.
Any way to delete the stock mufflers and retain the stock tips?
Yes, you can delete the stock muffler, but to use the stock tips,
you'll have to cut them off the mufflers, then do some "trick" pipe
welding to make one pipe spread into 2 tips for each side.

If you have a Non-NPP setup you can easily use the stock tips because they provide the one into two design. The NPP setup has two muffler outlets which go in to four individual tip gangs.
