Default Console Dash Plaque Install

I just bought (but have not received) one of those "Displacement / Horsepower / LBS FT. Torque / Comp Ratio /Corvette LT1" dash plaque that mounts on the console below the HVAC controls. Nice homage to the old HP days. Just curious about the install. Just pull the old one off and peel and stick the new one on? Thanks

This is the one I have, GM part# 460HP (23138329). & 455HP (23138330) its a complete replacement emblem it snaps in, no peel and stick overlay. You can remove it with your finger nails.

There are two small clips on the rear - the more fussy ones need to be unclipped from the rear, but the majority will just come out (as Randy said) with a thumbnail or small panel tool.

If it's really stubborn, and you don't feel like removing panels, you can always use the fishing line trick to move the clips.

Wrong part number for the emblem you have shown. 23138330 is for the 455hp plate. 23138329 is for the 460hp plate.

And they sent me the wrong plaque. Ack! Guess I'll have to take the NPP off my car now.

I didn't even need the fishing line. Just a little tug with my fingernail and it popped right out.

That would be cool to have. little pricey at 70 bucks though. OUCH!

Maybe I'll just cough it up... I wanted to get one with my name (as I should have done it when I ordered the car) but this is unique too. very C2 like
