I have a 2015 1LT A8 I just added a Procharger had the car dynoed and the dam Stabilitrac light is on and won't come off? I tried re flashing the ECM and disconnecting the battery with no luck. Any ideas?
Any car with traction control or stabilitrac while on the dyno will flash their respective lights---As both are controlled with wheel speed sensors---When on the dyno the front wheels are stationary so the ECM/BCM thinks there is a problem as while driving normally the front wheels should be spinning equally as the rears--The TC prevents both the rears from spinning the tires and the stabilitrac keeps the left rear turning the same revolutions as the right while not spinning ( keeps it from going sideways)
I understand how it works, What I'm asking is after the dyno run I can't get the light to come off been driving it and the light has stayed on?
Normally you would simply press the T/C button once or twice and it should go off
If it doesn't you may have a computer glitch caused by the dyno run
which is not uncommon ---Try to dis-connect the battery ground for at least 2-3 hours to let the ECM and BCM unload completely--That normally will re-set everything

I tried that left it unplugged overnight still nothing! It's at the dealer they think its a bad module? Just my luck
Don't forget that modern cars are systems of systems. The ECM and the EBCM talk together. The EBCM sends torque reduction requests to the ECM and the ECM sends responses to the EBCM telling it how much it reduced torque. It used to be on previous models a tuner couldn't get into that software area to mess it up but maybe C7s are different.
Well it turns out there was three bent pins in the connector on the rack! of course everybody is blaming the other guy! All fixed and works fine. I have to say everything gets messed up on these cars if one module goes down!

what pins? you're lucky they didn't say sorry you put a procharger, we're not going to help you because the installer broke the pins!

There is a connector on the rack there is about 10 heavy duty pins on the rack and 3 of them got bent. The service manager at the dealer is good friends with the guy that put it in. Like the service manager said unless there is something for sure do to the Procharger being installed they would cover everything.
