Sorry from the start of this sounds dumb guys but I figured ask. I'm just now looking at different header systems as I would like long tubes and an x-pipe but want to keep my stock NPP cat backs.

What size do I need to connect it all to the stock cat-back? I'm mainly looking at Borla options. Any info would help me as I'm new to modding my C7.

American Racing Headers if you want to spend more for American made quality product. I used to run ARH.

Texas Speed longtubes if you want a bargain and still not have a piece of crap. I currently run TSP.

Forget the rest.

1 7/8 is best all around size.

Great advise from Higgs Boson.. Personally, I use the 1 7/8" American Racing Long Tube Headers on my C7 with my NPP as well. Sounds wonderful!

Thanks. So those will run all the way back to the stock cat backs?

I have always heard that 1+3/4 was the best size if you don't do anything more than headers and COA.If you might want to do A cam, supercharger and other thinks then go with 1+7/8.
I'm just going by what I read on the forum.

I would call up ARH and discuss your situation/goals with them, because they make both 1-3/4" and 1-7/8" full length headers. For me, since I'm a hopeless Torque addict, I'd go for the 1-3/4".

I will easily put tsp headers against any header available. The extra long primaries make awesome torque gains that's hard to pass up compared to typical long tube designs. The 17/8" versions are in stock and 2" is in final stage of development!
