Track Oil Question
So, I'll be due for my first oil change here in a week or two. My first track event will be at VIR end of June. The question is, should I go ahead and put in track weight oil this first change or go back for another change in a couple of weeks just before the track? This doesn't make much (economic/logistics) sense to me. I'll put a few hundred miles on the car before track day whch would be with the heaver weight oil.

Never arrive at a track with more than 500 miles on the current oil, and change it immediately after the event.
If you are going to leave the car in the garage until the track event, change it once, otherwise twice.
