Tom Lovelady was the main classroom instructor when I did my class. The other driving instructors: Rob, Josh, Ian, Jason and Brandon also each did a short presentation before the session was over. All great guys with a lot of patience.

At that time, the instructors were driving Camaro's and the Z51's stayed on their bumpers. I think they know how to stay out of the student's way.

Brandon "BC" is the man. He was the head instructor for my 2 day class. Really enjoyed his instructing style. Can't wait to go back for level 2 at some point next year.

I think I was one if the fastest students in our class. Driving the Central Texas roads helps. Too aggressive at times but not afraid to go fast. Learned a lot. The Corvettes are incredible road course cars. Spring Mountain is first class in my opinion.

Way to go Russ.

The Corvette C7 is an awesome car and the course at Spring Mountain nails it.

The instructors are great and they push you to your potential.

I plan on the Level 2 course to expand on my experience there.

Ha ha. Me too.

Instructors had good demonstrations on heel toe but with rev match on the steering wheel it is the way to go. IMO

I was about even with these drivers. I'd fall behind, catch up then have to back off again. I was not very consistent. Turn 5a was trouble for me.

I had trouble at turn 3 - too aggressive I think. 5 a/b was quick.

Your PDR doesn't have the track config and lap time...I have that on my videos. Do you have more videos with that included?

Looks like you kept up with the instructor best in your group.

I did the 3 day April 13-15 What a experience ! I will talk my wife into letting me buy a membership to this place before i die !!

Maybe a house right on the side of the track ? This seems much more preferable to me then lakeside property somewhere.

Its amazing what you feel like you can learn within the span of 3 days.

This was the last bit of the 3rd day when we were out on our own. I was taking there advice and trying to be smooth. Just need more time on the track really. I feel like by the end of the 3rd day your just starting to get it sorted out and now its time to leave ! I watch this video now and i see all sorts of areas where i could have added a ton more speed.

The part that i love about being out there is it requires your full attention 100% nothing else in the world matters and all else is forgotten even for just a little bit.

The Instructors were beyond nice and very easy to learn from. My wife got to ride along with the instructors all day long no problem. They treated her like any other student. She wants to come back and do the level 1 for herself !

I do have a suggestion to improve the experience. They should do a random pick of 1 student per class to do 2 90-100% Hot laps with Rick then bring in the Pdr footage and watch it in class with everyone. I would find that VERY interesting to see his entry speeds on some of those corners.

We will be back ! Looking forward to level 2 I'm thinking this summer if i can sneak off for a few days
