I had the Bullets installed several weeks ago. Not a difficult job. The lower fascia has to be removed and of course the stock exhaust and pipes. The NPP and AFM valve actuators need disconnecting. the AFM will need to be reconnected and the NPP actuators were zip tied off to the side. They sound awesome. Enjoy.

Is there any special tools for removing the lower fascia? What about for the NPP & AFM?

No special tools. Socket set, torx screw driver, impact gun is helpful, $70 or so will get you an electric one, and I believe in the DIY section you can find a thread about removing the rear fascia. Once it's off, undo the clamps, disconnect the AFM and NPP actuators from their wires, loosen the hangers and the mufflers and pipes can be removed. Unscrew the AFM actuators and screw them onto the Bullets, they used red lock tight on the screws, make sure they align and slide in the new pipes, hang the mufflers, lightly tighten the clamps so the exhaust is even, replace the fascia and recheck the alignment of the mufflers as you tighten the clamps and the hangers. The last part may have to be done several times to ensure they are straight. Hook up the AFM actuators and make sure everything is tight. Enjoy the noise!! No cel just V8 music.
No to hijack the thread........is it just a little more work and just as easy to install an X pipe? I've done that in a C5 and it was a piece of cake.......and would think so in a C7 but curious?

One way or another I will know in a month or so!!
Just depends on the system. With the Corsa you have to cut the AFM valves off of the OEM system. But pretty simple.
I did not clarify my first post *** backwards in fact!!.... I am removing my corsa extreme system and X pipe and going back to stock to trade off the car. Dealer wants to certify the trade and needs the car stock. So I'm not installing I'm removing. SB straight forward but I did not do the install. On my system the afm valves are off the corsa exhaust, its a one off system and the valve motors are tucked up over the transaxle per the place that installed the system.
I'm thinking just bolt them back onto the stock system and all is good, may need to reflash to delete the custom tune but we'll see.
ok, some false info going on in here so let me try to clarify. I did a corsa xtreme and double helix x pipe myself in my garage on jack stands. You HAVE to take the lower valence off from the rear bumper. Its pretty straight forward but a pain at a couple of points in the process. Some axel backs come with their own over axel pipes and some do not. The corsa did not come with the over axel pipes so you HAVE TO CUT THE STOCK MUFFLERS OFF THE OVER AXEL PIPES AND REUSE THE STOCK OVER AXEL PIPES. Now, with Gregg00, you are going to need to get yourself new stock mufflers that have the over axel pipes attached, or weld the pipes to the mufflers to get it back to stock since you said you have corsa.
As far as adding the x pipe, its pretty easy, just a lot of bolts cause of the tunnel plate.

Corsa cut's between mufflers & AFM valves...AFM valves stay intact
My custom install didn't require rear fascia removal. Sawzall stock tips 1st, mufflers next.
Jake, are you just as much of a douchebag in person? When installing the XPipe with the Corsa exhaust you need to cut out the AFM valves of the stock pipe and reinstall them on the new system. I know, because I have had them on my car for almost a year now. Greg asked about the difficulty of adding an XPipe and I said it depends which system, that the Corsa system and XPipe you have to cut them and reuse them, and no one asked about being a hack and removing your mufflers hillbilly style.
And you wonder why so many people on the forum can't stand you. Now go find some threads where you haven't posted a picture of your car, if you can actually find one.

When installing a Corsa system ya "cut out the AFM valves from the stock pipe".
Brian, you're confused BRO
Ya DON'T "cut out the AFM valves from the stock pipe".
Cut between AFM valves & stock mufflers.
Corsa mufflers get hillbilly "clamped" to stock pipes that retain AFM valves.
x-pipe install = irrelevant
Cut out the AFM valves to reuse - You use the template to mark and CUT the section of the pipe with the AFM valves....
Next, the valve sections are joined to new axle pipes via clamps...
The pipes are slipped over the axle and connected to the X-pipe.<br/>
It's not too difficult to comprehend and I cannot make it any clearer. If you think I'm insinuating that you are supposed to just cut the valve right off of the pipe itself than that is your issue as I never said that anywhere in any of my posts.
Now run along and play. And just say no to drugs.

Shark grey.......thanks. You are right I do need a complete original exhaust system, which I have. My car was a beta for Corsa and they asked if they could cut up the stock exhaust for whatever research they do. I said sure as long as I get a new one which they did. Never asked but in the fall of 13 they went to a local dealer and ordered a new C7 exhaust. I would not even think it was available. I have the center pipe too and expect this reinstall to be piece of cake since my buddy has a lift.
I've done a lot of work on a C5, did not have my C6 long enough to work on it...... but frankly have not been under the C7 that much. Corsa did all the install, worked with a local tuner and turned the car back over to me.
