Air intake path

Has anyone dug into the air intake path up to the air filter housing bolted to the right apron( from the front of the car)

I've removed the filter box and look down there. What is your question?

exactly where does it go and does it ever reach a good cold air source. Are there any restrictions and where does it end up getting outside air? behind the headlight, the blocked corner behind the right side of the grille? I took the middle flat black plastic panel behind the front bumper cover and noticed a mediocre opening up in the right hand corner back against the rf wheel house panel.

Great question! I removed my front bumper to install a z06 grill and saw no deticated air path. If the air comes thru the black plastic cut out in the front and bottom of the the rf wheel well and around the parts below the headlight and the headlight itself is a very convoluted path. What to do?
