About two weeks ago I started hearing a rattle coming from the bell housing area. I got the car up on a lift and probed around with a stethoscope thinking it was the flex plate with which others have had problems. I took it to a recommended dealer tech - in spite of the Edelbrock blower - to have it checked out. He identified it as the fuel pump but said the dealer won't let him work on it - on the clock. I knew warranty was out with the blower but it needed to be fixed. The sound was getting worse. It sounded like a wrench in an empty paint can on the shaker at Home Depot. I ended up getting the FPHP from Gene at Cultrag - my go to guy for parts. I had it the next morning.
Yesterday afternoon I dropped the car of at a local performance shop Broadview Automotive. John's a great guy and called me at 8:30 this morning to say he had a lot of work and came in early this morning to knock my car out. Total damage - $260 for the pump and $246 labor.
The car is now quiet again and I'm a happy camper.

so you replaced it with the regular pump? Personally since you are blown, I would have done the Z06 pump since you have to replace it anyway..
Thank you for your business! It was good talking with you. I'm glad all is well.
Ant... the Z06 pump is the same as the LT1.
Thank you,
Gene.
Which of the pumps are you saying is the same? Several people have already swapped out to the Z06 high pressure fuel pump because the stock LT1 pump only flows 2175psi and the Z06 pump flows 2900psi. It is providing higher psi for high HP applications. I believe the in tank pump was also different from all my readings. Is there another pump that I am missing? Perhaps a pump that is used to move fuel between the two tanks?
LT4 and LT1 pumps are different and have different calibrations.
2014 and 2015 calibrations are also different.
Yes there different. . Only the lt4 pump came available in 2015 model cars... yes there different calibrations. But only 2 different pumps. Lt1 and lt4

correct 2 different pumps, LT1 and LT4.
the fuel pump calibration for the LT1 also changed from 2014 to 2015.
and then the calibration for the LT1 and LT4 2015 pumps are different in some ways but do share some things.
