Default Help on a DeWitts radiator, please

On the web site no # to call are get help now. Looking for a set up for the c7 2014 AUTO trans with the Z51 package. I posted in here and was going to get one like the one guy posted from Summit racing. But that one is made for a stick not auto car.

As far as I know there is no difference between the manual or A8 models with the DeWitts radiator.

One of the the guys at summit racing when I have called the last THREE days. The one today got me to hold he said he called Dewiits and was told the M in the part number at the end was for a stick car. The other two guys from summit never did call me back.

Said they didnt have one for a auto trans out yet for the auto trans fuild. Said I would have to buy a aftermarket cooler for the auto transmission. But even said that the guy ar Dewitts told him they will have that out in a short time for the c7 cars.

I WISH TOM WOULD COME IN HERE AND TELL ME SOMETHING HERE. BEFOR I BREAK DOWN AND SPEND 1300 FOR THE OTHER ONE FROM C&R RACING.

I have bought in the last 5 yrs 4 diff units from Dewitts for c5 and c2 cars and 2 diff fan set up for the c5.

The radiator from GM is the same part # on the Stingray, Z51, Z06, & Z07. So how can there be different aftermarket radiators for each model?

If you read a couple of posts on the following page someone installed that radiator in the A8. As far as I know there is no transmission cooler in the stock radiator, either.

You are correct. There is no transmission cooler in the GM radiator on any C7 models.

I am holding out to see DeWitts new design for C7 radiator. They are also working on a oil cooler. DeWitts is high quality stuff. Whatever they have will kick ***!

But you do know the price of the new one will be close to the 1300.00 that the other one is. I dont track this car so I am sure it will keep my temp in the car lower than than the 230 in hot street temp.

With it on the c5 car even with the cut down one my temp only got 210 max in 100 plus summer. On the track never did hot lap the c5 only got just at 220 max on 100 summer on 1/8 track.

I do not believe DeWitts will double the cost of the radiator. I've seen other vendors almost double there price just cuz of a redesign. I just don't see that happening with DeWitts.

I said close in my statement here. Even if it is 1200.00 to 1299.00 We know it will be a great item and well made...

I have one here coming next week Plus I know it will more than do what I need it to do the the LMR housing & 160 also in the car. I will not be doing no road racing with the car.

So I know the cars temp in her will be down to a more safe temp's..
