I have read the How-to that is posted on the Sticky's and found it very helpful. Also read the OM. I'm going to swap wheels and change brake fluid at the same time.
But to nail it down as a best method, do I place the floor jack with reverse-logic puck on the shipping slot, jack it up, then place a jack stand just FORWARD to it to support the car? I personally use some 2x4's I cut into small pieces and put them between the jackstand and the body.
