Default California Emissions

Anyone emissions tested their late model car in California recently?

If so, what was the procedure?

The procedure for all 2000 and newer cars is an OBD2 diagnostics check. If all the monitors are set to ready...then you're good to go. They also do a visual check for any non-CARB compliant modifications.

Plus when you buy a new car you don't need to smog it for the 1st 4 years--So no reason to panic if your car is a new C7---yet--
No more sniffer I calif---as of late-what they look at now is to see IF you have a check engine light-----If your "readiness tests" are all set to ready and finally VISUALLY to see if you have added or changed any parts that are non CARB certified--

They changed the test to the first one being needed on a car purchased in California to 6 years a while ago.
