Default Vengeance Racing does it again!

I picked up my beast last week from Vengeance Racing and I just want to say thank you and that I could not be happier with the results! Ron and everybody else at the shop were a pleasure to work with and more than happy to answer all of my questions. You owe it to yourself to consider Vengeance Racing if you are planning on building your car.

Not bad for 110 degrees in the dyno room.

PS Bucknut....do you think you can get a video of your BOV? From what I remember from another thread, you have the Tial Q? I'm getting ready to order my ECS system and still can't decide yet between the Q or the QR...

Stock block, crankshaft and connecting rods. Pretty much everything else has been upgraded.

@StingerBG: QR, for the love of all that is holy. I have dual Qs on right now and am still going deaf. Don't get me wrong, it's still fun for 15-20 seconds per drive for the intimidation factor, but wow... the hearing loss is tangible when you get out of the car.

I have two QR bodies (bottom-ends) sitting here to swap over as soon as I'm back up to the front area.

Only worry I had was getting them to flow enough @ 13-14psi, but with 2, I don't see an issue. If you're running 7-8psi and don't want to go partially deaf after driving it for half an hour, go wit the QR 1.5" and throw a filter on it to cut down on the noise.

Might not help much, but here was my single Q at 8psi... Super loud.

By the way, OP - looking good - especially the wheels!

Now lower that thing (without, of course, going too far down in the rear). I forgot to have Ron and crew do that, and liked it so much better once I got under there and cranked it down.

Good tire choice, as well.

If you are even questioning it, go with the Qr. I'm not sure what type of video you want, but can try to capture something.

Thanks Theta! That's exactly what I wanted to hear! WOW that thing is LOUD!!! I kind of like how loud it is...but then again I'm afraid I might end up getting tired of it. My car is only a weekend/nice weather warrior so I don't drive it too often. I may order it with the Q bov...then order a Qr bottom end for future needs if necessary. I do plan on 8psi to be the most I ever really put on the car. For the Qr set up, you mentioned putting a filter on it...Do you have any pics of this (whether by you or from another build)? I've seen installs of a Qr, but they all had the outlet pipe being routed back into the turbo/sc intake. But I take it you're saying to use a Qr to vent into the atmosphere through a filter? Thanks again for the responses! I do follow most every one of your threads and they have all been VERY helpful and VERY thorough!!

Thank you all for the kind words! I was undecided about suspension until I got the car back. No questions now so I ordered the aFE/Pfadt Stage 2 coil overs and sway bars. They should be here Monday.

I'm trying to make sure everything is set for the 1/2 mile event coming up in September. Anybody in Midwest planning on attending?

You should be very pleased with that combo. Higgs is running the same setup and seems to love it. I only have the bars and stock bolts all the way down.
