Default LmR CAI

Anyone installed the LMR CAI? Any pics of the parts before installation?

Does the tube fit over the TB and clamp to the TB or does it butt up against the TB and held by a coupler?

And is the filter the same size as a drop-in filter?

One thing I like about the stock intake is the rubber bellows fits in a grove in the TB and is clamped on.

And any other comments appreciated.

I have one, there is a coupler between CAI and T Body. It comes with a high flow drop in filter. No issues with mine, like it a lot. looks almost stock too, which I like

Thank you, ordered it. LMR says will be shipped today.

I like the design and OEM look as well.

I paid $600. That was their price quoted several weeks ago here on the Forum. If you call them, maybe it's less now.

The stock intake has 2 "bulges" connected to the intake, 1 for each rubber tube from the engine. The LMR does not from the photos. I don't know if that's important. The bulges might be reasonators or might also collect oil or other impurities in the vented air stream.

Gotcha. Thanks. I'll give them a shout.
