No but to me thats not a fail safe, thats a gauge and at over 700hp I do think your reaction to some really bad noises from the engine will be faster than looking at a gauge.
I did think of a true failsafe. Dual pumps, in parrelel, with pressure monitoring on both. Like you have a light now, two lights, but in the case of a pump failure determined by either no, or low pressure on one side of the system the light would stay on and not go out.
One pump is good to run things so if the other pump failed you save the motor and have visual indication something is wrong with the pump that needs to be addressed.
Looks like it does work to drop timing & all when ran out of meth. That will be one piece I would put on the car for sure.
According to the tuner who did my car he can, and has, done something similar. There is an envelope I should be within for IAT with the meth on, once it falls out of that range the timing gets cut drastically and a few other things to save the motor.
Probably OK if you catch it but I would still prefer a true redundant system.

Yeah that is what I was talking to ecs about. Tuning for it so that if IAT doesn't read enough meth it pulls timing. Just curious about what could happen after the IAT. Leaks, etc
