Metallic clunk

I have a 2014 base 2LT A6 with 8k miles. I generally do not drive the car hard. I have, however, on 2 occasions jumped on it from a rolling start. Both times I have heard a metallic sound when the vehicle shifts from 1st to 2nd. Beyond this noise, the transmission seems to work perfectly.

Note: trans temp is around 150 F.

Any ideas?

Normal.

It's a timing/fuel delivery thing.

Someone who is smarter than me will chime in with exact particulars.

Some have likened it to a cordless drill after you let off the trigger.

Thanks, maybe this is not a crisis issue.
That does sound like the discription.
If anyone has any greater detail I wold be interested in hearing it.
