Any programming kits for car functions? (Not engine)
This is not an engine tuning kit I'm talking about, it's car systems.
I have such a system for my Audi. The kit (called "VCDS") comes with a USB cable and software that controls a variety of systems. So I can program the car with a laptop. For example, there's a way in the Audi to override the DVD lockout and allow a video DVD to play while the car is moving.
Anything like this available for the Corvette?
Having said that, from what you used as an example, I am guessing you want to address settings that no aftermarket equipment can alter. But listing any examples of what you might want to change will answer that.

Exactly. VW and Audi share a common system that can be tweaked using software. You can also tweak things like the setting that turns off the daytime running light on the side that the blinker is activated. There are tons of options like that.

To the OP here why come out and ask for info are help then come back & say you don't want to tell are say what you really are asking for r need help on.

Not trying to give you a hard time here but your above statement just don't help you at all.
I was very clear that I am looking to see if someone knows if there is a way to program car functions.
Going into a list of functions I would be interested in changing has absolutely no bearing on whether or not a way to program car systems exists.
In fact, judging from my past experience on the forums, as well as one of the examples I gave in a previous post in this thread, I have no doubt if I were to produce a list of things I was interested in tweaking I would have a bunch of people posting about whether or not I should be changing those settings -- and still no progress on whether or not a way to program the car systems exists. I am simply not interested in taking my thread off-topic and getting into a pissing contest over the merits of changing this or that setting.
If I was on an Audi forum and I asked this question, someone would simply reply, "Sure, get the VCDS kit and you can program the systems with your laptop."
Here? Apparently I get people wringing their hands anxiously wondering what settings could I possibly want to change. Because what particular settings I want to change MAKES SUCH A BIG DIFFERENCE.
So save the

for something or someone deserving of it. I'm a long-term member here asking a legitimate question.

Who comes on a car DISCUSSION forum and demands a Yes/No answer to a vague question and then gets upset when people want a little clarification???
Let me answer your question plainly.
NO.
