Default Antifreeze leak

My 2015 non Z-51 has developed a very small antifreeze leak that started about one week ago. When sitting in traffic I would get a whiff of hot antifreeze unknowingly it was my brand new car, 14,700 miles. Any idea from the pictures where the leak might be coming from? There is a very very small stain on the concrete.
I see a courtesy car coming my way since my C7 is a DD.

Check all of your hoses & tank it is all on that side. May just be a hose from the tank to the rad. May need to let it run are after you get home from work r driving it look under the hood really good.

Then again you can take it to the dealership they MAY be able to fix it then again I really wouldnt put to much money on that one. I would make sure they are a corvette dealership. Most chev dealers are not.

As soon as I let the car down from the lift I will check the top side. I am installing side skirts then I saw the leak.

Check the little petcock on the bottom driver's side of the radiator. Its designed to drain the coolant, it might just be a little loose. Its easy to reach down to.

The leak is under the engine. That is the control arm bushing in the picture. I can't see anything from the top. Might be a hose that goes to the water pump. I'll let the Dealership figure this out.

It looks like it is right below the water pump, check the backside of the water pump pulley for antifreeze.

I couldn't locate the antifreeze leak but I did put my side skirts on.

I love this car despite its flaws.

Hope your dealer doesn't break your skirts when you take it in for the antifreeze leak.

Most dealers will take care of the car and not damage it. If the leak is showing up on the cradle like that there is a good chance it is the water pump seal. Warranty will cover the problem and you don't even need to get your hands dirty. Best to take it in while the car is still drivable Vs being towed after the water pump takes a total dump.

Bill provides excellent advice. A seal that is leaking this soon means that there is likely a major flaw with the water pump and the problem is likely to become far worse very quickly. This isn't like a pump with a lot of hours on it where the leak typically only slowly grows worse with age/wear.

Conformation from the Dealership today that the problem is indeed the water pump seal with coolant coming out of the weep hole. Pretty sad with a new engine, never abused, and only 14,600 miles on it.
New pump is installed and picking the car up this afternoon.
I was given a new Malibu to drive that has the “start-stop” feature when at red lights. Not knowing this beforehand I kind of panicked at first but then realized where the tach position was. Interesting feature.

What dealer are you using?
Trying to find one I trust to do any warranty work. My local isn't any good unfortunately.

Hope all is well with the repair!

Randy Marion, Mooresville NC, where I ordered the car last year. I'll peak under the hood tomorrow when I can see better. Glad to have the C7 back.
